I don't really like how the normal moulding looks on a white car, and I think all white looks a little too plain. I like the moulding on my car because is sort of in between, and it doesn't hurt that it is fairly unique. However, I don't care that much. I would have taken whatever I found.

The white on the moulding is just vinyl. It's really simple, but I personally love it. The wheels are painted with a two-part acrylic enamel. I don't know if it's the same type of paint as normal white pakages or not.

It's really not that rare of a car anyway. There were quite a few different special editions for 86.5 in California.

I'm pretty sure Gemini Composites gets their MKIII cf hoods from Carbon Fiber FX. I e-mailed them some questions about the hood a while back and they said to contact Duane for any details.

86.5 white

Well definatly don't pay $5950 for it. It might be worth that much if it was a turbo with 30,000 miles, but not an NA with 280,000. I guess $3000 is a good offer, but personally I would try to stay away from a car with that many miles. I ended up paying $3200 for my 86.5 NA with 90,000.

I'm sure it is a 1986.5, and its not a turbo. I added the decals on the windshield and hatch as well as the spoiler. The interior is gray cloth, there's nothing special about it that I can tell, no TEMS.

This winter I'm storing my supra at my parents house and using my dads awesome 1987 Chevy Chevette (implied sarcasm)

I don't know anything about whether it's metal backed or not. The only problem I've had with it is a small part of the white on the passenger door was worn off (not peeling or anything like that, just worn down somehow). I touched it up with some paint and its hardly noticable.
