Yes you can use a 7m rad for a 1J but I dont think the fluidyne will allow you to mount the hydro fan, I think to run the hydro you would have to use a koyo

I had my wastegate get stuck open it got a piece of wire stuck in between where it opens (running open wg) it was just bearly cracked and I got no boost at all NA 1jz no fun :nono:
Update its been awhile got to do 3 dyno pulls last night at 1bar I made 366hp and 340tq it was running pretty rich my afr was 10.2 I just got my Crower cams so once I get them in I'll hit the dyno again and crank it up to 25psi and see what she can do :icon_bigg

Im running the koni's I have them on full stiff there good but they could be stiffer I got a good deal on mine cheaper than bilstiens that was the only reason I went koni, im running ground control coilovers with 1000lb springs front and 600 rear still cheaper than full coilovers
I recomend you try to stay away from the older cars, from experience some of the nastiest mk3's I have worked on have been pre89, years of oil leaks and neglect mean no fun to work on you spend most of your time fixing hack jobs

Soon as all the probs are sorted I'll get it to a dyno to see what shes putting down, boost starts to come on at 2700rpm so once its tuned it should be pretty fun :icon_bigg
