    i second the cam timing...re check it, could be off one tooth and wouldn't really affect the ability to build compression, but it would take longer to reach the same compression doing the test..also cause the car to crank longer to start...worth a shot

    the popping (assuming youre talking about en exhaust backfire) is an excessive amount of fuel caused by venting metered air (the air has been measured, ecu adds fuel for it, then you remove air, you get a temp rich condition) and no, it wont damage anything except maybe a cat or a baffled muffler

    yes, the return will not drain properly...you will have oil backing up in the turbo, and will eventually take out the seals in it

    its the idle speed control valve, thats what controls idle speed (imagine that), if it goes bad, you will lose cold idle, also could be coolant temp sensor...check both of these as per tsrm specs...

    Running without the csi and iac

    eliminating the csi will create an extended crank start, but its not bad...iac, is a bitch...car will barely idle when not at operating temp. i ran like this for awhile...its terrible without the iac

    My problem with drifting is that i see all the morons going out and buying 240sx's, putting the weak ass sr in them, and powersliding and spinning out half the time and have stickers like "slide or die" and stupid shit like that...genuine drifting is a cool form of competition...not a buncha...
