OCD is a one man shop. I seriously doubt ARB has any knowledge of these. As for "qualifying" for passing CA smog, I am very confident it will. I have this friend (eh-hem:icon_bigg) that passed with flying colors running a totally catless setup (dp to test pipe to 3 inch). Adding this cat is...
I know this thread is for the Illumina shocks, but since the last couple posts discussed high flow cats, I figured I'd just post a quick update that after some additional research, I found that the one from Titan is a generic cat with Supra flanges attached to it and it has a ceramic spun core...
you have one you want to sell or you are just telling us like "fyi"?
Tires are on, and so far they are excellent. Took a long circular on-ramp and my Supra felt like it was on roller coaster rails. Stuck to the ground like glue with no difficulty and no drama. Have only driven them like 50...
I didn't replace any ball joints or bushings.
We get our fair amount of rain here... less than many other places but still... when it rains here, it comes down pretty good. The Comp2's I'm getting are also rated very highly in wet traction so I should be covered. They get put on today!
Yah I'm just gonna order a high flow cat and be done with it.
I also ordered the BFGoodrich G-Force Comp2 Ultra High Performance tires. They have a W speed rating (up to 168) and really great reviews everywhere you look. Supposedly excellent wet and dry traction...
Got everything installed on Saturday. Super happy to report that my Supra feels about TEN TIMES more stable and planted on the road now. I had forgotten how awesome this setup was. It's smooth, yet precise, and bumps and dips in the road are now handled with ease, whereas before I sometimes felt...
Wow. I just checked with 3 retailers that had these a few weeks ago when I was looking. They are all gone now. Also, that Ebay seller sold all 5 sets. One contact that I talked back and forth with extensively said he cannot get ahold of these until Dec 2014. Looks like they are totally sold out...
They are on 5% off sale right now at Andy's Auto:

Also, it looks like an additional 10% off code can be applied for a big savings. BALLSTAT
If you want TEMS, I think there is only "Tokico Illumina II" for the MK3. At least I know that it was the same back in '99 when I got them on my previous 91T. I am actually shocked that I was able to get the same classic setup as before all these years later. (Eibach,Tokico, ST Sway Bars).
It...
Well well well folks... I got em! I started to doubt whether or not this day would ever come.
But I am happy to report that I'm now in possession of a brand spankin new set of Tokico Illumina IIs.
2x EU3634 + 2x EU3635
Indeed multiple retailers are stocking these now. Also, there's...
Spoke with a major parts retailer yesterday asking if there is any update on the Tokico dealings. He said he hasn't heard anything at all. I told him that I had talked directly with TokicoUSA and Motovicity and that they had assured me without question that shipments were going out to the major...
If they did do it like that, I would imagine they would pick 1,3,5. But although there are 3 lights on the dash, there are only 2 buttons that come with the stock controller. (I don't have the trick HKS controller). So not quite sure how they'd set it. Maybe 1,3,5 with "Sport" mode setting it to...
Nope. No updates at the moment. I might try to contact some big name retailers that will definitely be the recipients of a new shipment, but I was thinking of giving it like another week or two.
I can't imagine Tokico would intentionally make the TEMS shocks non compatible with the Supra TEMS system. What would be the purpose of producing them in the first place?
If they are not compatible with the MK3 Supra, then who would be the target market?
There are so many different "extra" things available. If I'm gonna have a shop do a full install of Eibach/Tokico/ST setup, what else would you guys recommend I have em update while everything is taken apart anyways?
Front/Rear Bushings? Sway bar end links? Control Arms? Pillow Mounts?
Or...
