"There are limits to what you can achieve using a piggyback as you don't really have full control and who knows what else is going on in the background? "
exactly. That has been bugging me all along on some matters.. i suspect. Cant wait to go stand alone now.
ok thanks for the tips IJ. I will look in to the spark issue. Wich sparkplugs do you recommend?
I have tried to build with good cooling in mind. 99% of the air the fans sucks in goes through the ic. Have you tried to waterspray ic?
air temp where 31-32 all time. and watertemp (stock meter) where ok all time... but it gets warmer offcourse.
here is my last dyno on 4th gear and superflatline on 14.7psi. Same duty that resulted in 18psi the first run.
okey .. so you had simular dip as me. What boostlevel did you have then? Do you have standalone?
About the overheatingtheori, there was more to it. The last 2 runs the boost flatlined at 14psi.
thank you! i have some ideas i will test tomorrow. I dont think its related to the mapecu though. For me.. this is how far i will go with a piggy. I dont think its safe to aim for 500rwhp, i will go for a stand alone system when i disside to continue.
thats my boost going down to 13psi.. I had trouble keeping it stable. The guy at the dyno said that it could bee because the solenid is getting two hot. Iam going to re-locate it and se if it makes a difference. They had a car yesterday with simular problem, that got much more stable boost after...
my dynopic from today. This is rwhp with a setup of mapecu2, gt35r, rc550, mid-ported head. This effect is at 18psi and my boost where very inconsistant so the curve is not representative for the whole rpm-scale.
