I pulled the fittings off of the back of the hydro motor on the back of the fan and I am just going to try and helicoil it. hope it works becuase all I need is thay one little piece and I don't want to spend an unessesary 200 for a whole hydro fan setup when I only need that one little piece.
Okay so i stripped the threads on the inlet for the top line (the bigger one) and I haven't had my car for two weeks because I was waiting for the Fluidampr crank pulley I ordered. so... can I replace that part of the hydrofan quickly? otherwise I'm going electric. I've heard the hydrofans are...
Okay I'm about to install the fluidampr crank pulley and in the past I've just slowly tapped it on with a piece of wood and some anti-sieze but the instructions say something about a damper install tool (WTF is that?) so can I just tap it on with some anti-sieze? because I don't have that tool...
When I replaced the crank on my 7M I could just keep turning the bolt and pulley and eventually compression would hold the pulley and the bolt would loosen but on the 1JZ it appears to just keep going around in circles how do I get the bolt off?
It's probly obvious but I'm replacing my Crankshaft pulley with the Fluidampr and I got everything out so now off comes belt than pulley, how do I de-tension it?
Yes I bought the Fluidampr cause its direct fit...but the BL ones are shiny:) but I'll save the fifty bucks for some overpriced under-octane gas. thank you california

I noticed yesterday my car started making a pulley noise squeaking, light clacking and I pop my hood and the crank pulley is wobbling. I checked the bolt it was not loose and the pulley was not either. It seems like maybe the balancer broke off of the inside or something. anyways it happened...
