ive driven without power steering with awhile.. the only bad thing about it is parallel parking... if u live in a rural area where you dont have to parallel park, then its much more tolerable. i love driving on the highway with it though, it always points straight and it feels more responsive...
damn, how the hell did u hit 270? my fan shroud somehow broke off in traffic, blocking my fan from spinning, and i noticed that my temp gauge was at the 3/4 mark, when its usually at about 1/2.. i managed to drive for a few miles, wait at a stoplight or 2 and drive a few blocks more before i...
both times i had misses, it was because of a faulty injector...i doubt the oil leak would cause that unless it managed to get in between the spark plug and wire
i dont really understand what you're saying... you drive the car with a miss for an hour and a half, then when u turn it off the car won't start up again? maybe you have a bad coil pack or injector
definitely CPS wiring, i had the same EXACT problem and i fixed it by figuring out which wire had a weak connection and soldering it
i suggest you take apart the mess thats there and get each wire so its separate, then reconnecting them by using crimp connections or solder.
do a search and u can...
why not just go maft-pro, everyone seems to like that better
edit: i run a ssqv and vent it to the atmosphere on a stock ecu/afm.. no problems whatsoever
you thought a n/a FC was fast? if you complete your GTE swap you would put buslengths on that FC. i like the FC and all but i hate the powerplant.. like others have said, poor gas mileage, no low end grunt, rebuilding the motor every 70-80k miles b/c of apex seals... no thanks. its only 1.3L...
i dont think it has enough TURBO badges... :yelrotflm
the widebody job looks like it was put together by a high school shop student. at least is has a 1J swap. yes im a 7M owner but i'll admit i wouldnt mind having a 1J in my engine bay...
also what the hell is up with the playboy emblem in...
i think mine does that.. its a rapid clicking noise.. like click-click-click-click-click...i read before that its just the valves being a little loose and that its normal, nothing to worry about.
this is what rod knock sounds like...
