mine is doing that right now. It's loud (open 3 in. downpipe) but it's missing a cylinder. I finally narrowed it down to #2 exhaust valve is not seating correctly. Check if all of your cylinders are firing by removing each plug wire off the coil in succession to see if it makes a difference...

I found it- or at least, I think I did, the diagram I dug up shows it goes from "head to ISC" so I ran it that way. thanks for the reply Furious.

actually, they had two different part numbers for the turbo- as in my car uses two different injectors. I called a reputable mechanic, and he said the same thing. Weird. anyway, you guys say it doesn't matter which injector goes where in the fuel rail, even though the injector harness uses...

How sure are you that it was smoke? What color was it? Did it smell like coolant, oil, or anything you can identify? More info is helpful. Your dash lights may be unrelated, since lightbulbs have a tendency to burn out over time.

just put my supra back together, got a code 12, 22 and 51. fixed the 12 and 22, and now I cant fix the 51. My car wont start, it just cranks over and sputters and pops out the exhaust. Every once in a while I smell gasoline. I checked the connecter on the tps, unplugged and plugged it back...
