Sorry using to much slang, but you knew what I was talking about though.:nono:. Well my plans seem to have changed for good this time. Instead of the 2JZ im going with the 7M. Cant fix the car and get my families paperwork all done at the same time. Family got love em.:icon_evil

How much HP can the R154 tranny take. I have heard that the tranny starts to slip after 750HP. Dont know how true it is but I know the 6spd can handle the HP.

I have decided to go with the 2JZ swap with the 6spd tranny. Thanks for all the input.

Money is no object but to get to the HP range Im looking for it might take a 7-8 months maybe. I want to get everything done at once but I dont have the money for that. so I have to pace myself. Shooting for 750-850 RWHP not crank. Quick ???? how much HP can a built up R154 tranny take.

The 7m i have is not running so i still have to check the block to and the rest of it. Another swap that I keep hearing about is the 1UZ swap. I think it can be a twin turbo setup but in the MK3 I dont know.

Both engines are good for me in the end they will end up costing the same. I know they have lots more parts for 2JZ's than 7m's. If they stop making 7M parts then I'm stuck. What to do? All comments are welcome.:1zhelp:
