    on my 1jz powered 240sx i only have t1, t2, t12, t13 hooked up to switched powers. t-3 controls the ignition power fusebox on the supra, (ex. power to injectors and coil packs and ignitors) i have that hooked up seprately on a seprate harness plug. i just you can hook up the check engine light...

    1J idles runs rough, backfires, dies outs!

    verify that you hvae spark alone all 6 coils, then make sure your injectors arint clogged or damged. if you have backfire out of your intake mani, then i would tend to think that the timing on your intake cam is off. also check the crank position sensor while your at it. goodluck

    *problem solved, just thought i'd post this up as refrence, my 1jz wouldnt start because i hooked up the power to the ignition to a power source that switchs off while cranking (car is 240sx) it's all gravy now! thanks for the help.*

    just make yourself a catchcan and cap off the fitting on the intake manifold and cap off the fitting on the factory cold pipe on the twins.
