My 91 n/a r-154 was sitting for approximately 8-12 months before I finally was able to finish the headgasket. It was a tough job, but somebody had to do it! lol. I have some mechanical experience, owning one of these cars pretty much makes you learn mechanics quite fast. It's my 3rd motor, jdm...

What do you guys think of an apoxy?? like jb weld?? you think it'll harden enough for me to get a grip on it? open to suggestions and comments lol...This one head bolt kept me from removing the head and getting it re-surfaced...on thursday...

a day later still trying to remove that worn head bolt!!

:1zhelp:searched to no avail.. I stripped 1 of the 14 headbolts.. they are stock head bolts with the 10mm allen key socket..not sure what to do...trying to change my hg and pretty much stuck here... The allen hole on the head bolt is stripped.. what to do to get it out?? thanks :1zhelp:

One more question... i went from a usdm to jdm ge.. the jdm motors dont have EGR's..my mechanic told me to leave the TPS d/c since it idled roughly when it was connected..anyways my 2nd question is... do i have to have a jdm ecu or usdm ecu for a jdm motor??im using the same wiring harness...

So I have a 91...used to be a n/a.. and swapped in a r-154...do I have to change the ecu from a/t to m/t?? does it matter? it does turn on and everything...tried searching but couldnt find much, thanks, alex.

so i swapped my ge for another ge "jdm" and then the auto tranny for a r-154all ine one shot. i did the swap myself but i let some mechanics do the electrical. so i finally got it back... everything seems fine except for a couple things.. the mechanic said its running a little rich and...

same everything? I just bought an 86.5 n/a afm from gtsfirefighter for my 91.. is it the same plug...etc...? just want to make sure..no question's a stupid question right? heh..

So my 1991 n/a has been in the shop for i'd say about 2 month... maybe even 2 in a half..i swapped the motor for another ge and swapped the auto for a r-154 myself..i did most of the mechanical work... and left a shop to do the most of the electrical cuz i was stuck. and also a couple things...
