i was searching and i saw that the oil drain from the turbo is mainly gravity drained. and since i made my own block fitting the drain hose hangs lower than the block fitting. since it is gravity drained will this cause a problem?

I blew that pos stock ct-26, and i am removing it to put on a sp61gt. heres some pics of the tear down, and some of the damage. dirty ass engine bay- Blown turbo- thats all ive got for now. ill try to size the pics down next time, it wasnt working this time.

i pulled my turbo off yesterday to make way for my new one. as i was pulling it off i found oil in the exhaust housing. the turbo was blown so i was thinking maybe i just blew the seals out of the turbo. what do you think? heres a pic. sorry its so big, it wouldnt let me size it.
