Finally got some pics that are worth showing. I ditched the Tein coilovers because the adjusting rings were stuck and I didnt want to remove then all over again and mess with them so I bought some K-Sport coilovers. The ride is very smooth, even too smooth for my taste. I might have to change...

One car had a small single turbo that broke it just after 400 miles. The other car was a drift 240SX with 2JZ w/ stock twins, around 200 miles street driving and it broke at the first drift event. I'm pretty sure he doesnt use clutch kicks.

Both will be upgrading to multi-disk clutches. Still.. what a piece of shit clutch. I had no problem with my Spec Stage 3, but looks like the Stage 5 has some issues.

Two local board members installed Spec Stage 5 clutches in their 2JZ / R154 swaps. They had the same outcome, the clutch exploded on both cases and on both broke the bellhousing. Both had under 400 miles on their clutches. Here's some pics of the carnage:

It's NOT going to shatter because of 0.5mm machined per side, trust me.

If something is a risk, it's the stock brakes. Fading brakes so that I'm about to mash the pedal through the floor after two laps at the track isnt safe, even with new pads and brake liquid. One could see the spacer on the 350Z disc as a risk aswell if the tolerances arent right. I'll let you...

Why not? 1mm wont have any affect on the discs integrity. There must be atleast 10mm of material where to machine. I've already ground down the hub on the ABS hub so I only have to machine 1mm from the disc, that's nothing, it almost fits already.

I actually knew that I would atleast have to grind down the ABS hub part but I didnt know that they wouldnt fit even after that. I wonder what discs come with the Night Pager kit or are the discs already machined to fit? I would have prolly gotten the MKIV discs in any case because it's very...

OK, started to install the MKIV discs today. I knew I had to grind down the lip on the hub on the ABS cover. But I noticed that even with this ground down the MKIV discs wont fit if you have ABS on your car. I'll take the MKIV discs tomorrow to a machine shop and have them grind 1mm off the...

Anybody care to do a write up when installing the ES bushings? Do you need to completely remove the control arms to be able to install these?

Hopefully I'm going to install my Night pager along with MKIV discs this week, I just have to get the adapter made for the discs. I'll also get some real world track results so I can compare them to the OEM brake setup.

Has anybody installed the MKIV TT brake disks with the Night pager kit? I've read that you need to grind something down if you have ABS, can anybody shed any light on this? Was there also a somekind of spacer needed? I'd like to use the MKIV TT disks because they are cheap at my local dealer...

Some updates finally. I got the Tein HA's installed but unfortunately the top adjustment rings are stuck as hell on three of the coilovers. We disasembled one and put it on a bench vice and tried to force it open but it was a no go. I'll have to buy new rings and just break the current rings...

Did you get the DWG drawings? Were they any good?
