Wheel bearing time
Tranny and oil cooler mounted
Dual head and oil thermostat mounted, waiting on -8 line to come in.
Front subframe cleaned and pressure washed
James ward is using a flaming rivers fox body manual rack. Looks pretty decent to modify. And is crazy light. I will probably be going that route when I get some more money and time for Albert to help.
Stripped the front frame for new bushings from the fire, and new wheel bearings and extended studs.
First order of fittings came in
Oil feed for the turbo
Trans pressure
I have a couple mil spec connectors bought but am missing some pieces for everyone I find. I need to actually sit down and source the right stuff cause it's almost time for wiring anyway.
Any sources on connectors?
Finally installed some parts I've had for a couple years
Aero catch hood pins
B&M line lock, new tube ends for the 3/8-24 I.F. Fittings
Removed the rear coupler, rebent and reflared the lines. Bolted into the factory bolt.
Rebuilt the master, and mounted all the lines back on.
Cause it looks way better with nice Seams instead of globs of shit everywhere. I stitch welded the shock towers, and will do the rest/bolt holes when it's ready for paint.
And yes, I would have the car lifted up or something for the shock mount area. The spray right there was mainly from me...
ProEFI setup mostly complete.
New bushings and boots to replace melted ones in the fire.
Drilled and tapped the tranny for line pressure and catch can for the vent
Finished removing seam sealer and wet sanded for primer
You couldn't tell if the damper was bigger or not unless you referenced it to the radius of the timing cover.
I'll put in the work order for 2. And ask them if it would change the price at all. It's just to get an estimate.
Update: waiting for fittings and poly stuff so I can swap frames. Been working on the body.
Wtf on ati, it says right on their site it's $100 for 12 magnets? It's probably the AEM style?
