Quite a bit of 700r4 bashing, each to their own. I run one, have for 3 years in a BB chev 4x, 4.56 gears and 35 tires. Mud snow highway. Works good. Even used it for pulling out trees, bushes, moving crap that weights 5 times as much as the truck. Got it pretty hot a couple times, still...

Twice huh? I'd be taking a very close look at your threads and the mating surfaces. Sheering of the heads? Just the heads indicates over torque. The head and some thread would be sheered, if you were to ask me? Over torque-flywheel gets hot-expands-pops head. muzy

Your cluster went out at the same time cuz it is on the same circuit. What changes have you made lately. I would start by trying to isolate the cause. ie. unplug lamp fail device and see if dash lights function without blowing fuse. muzy
