Idle air control valve possibly? Remove the two 12mm bolts and check the screen underneath the IAC valve. Pull it out and blast it with some Air Intake/Carburetor cleaner and reinstall. Hope this helps.
Anyone have any feedback on the Miller Diversion 165? Been wanting to buy a machine to teach myself on, but have held off because of the price of TIG equipment. I don't want to attempt welding AL without a TIG machine (even though others have clearly done it without an AC setup), and want a...
Hahahahahhaha. Someone does. They're called "The Stealership." At least they told me they could get one and quoted some price so ridiculous I don't even remember what it was.
Have you thought about just using both sides of a slightly different OEM connector for the O2 sensor wiring...
That sounds like a lot for a MS setup. Is it MS3 PnP? And did you buy an aftermarket boost controller with it or just a solenoid that the MS controls? Just curious. Pull-a-Part is your friend for connectors and such.
I don't like to speculate on hp numbers. It's a lot to do with tuning. If you look at 2543Arvin's signature, he says he's making close to 375whp (378) at around 17psi with his setup. My car makes 384hp/372tq @ 14.5psi on a T04S (60-1) and an AEM. I think those numbers are pretty much in line...
I removed the rear pods and cut out the factory 5" mounting flange so that there was a square opening. I then used Liquid Nails to glue in a square piece of 3/4" MDF with a 5" cutout for a 5.25" midrange speaker (hole smaller than actual cone diameter). Not a lot of work and the end result is...
Why run 850s? So you can say that you have 850cc injectors? Even with MS and E85, what's the point on a CT26 setup? Seems like a lot of work to retrofit a fuel system just to keep the stock turbine. You make a point regarding the timing, but the SAFC doesn't really "pull" timing, it just...
I ran a Lex AFM + Denso 680s with a Neo for a while. No real issues. The SAFC will remove up to 50% fuel (someone correct me if I am wrong here). I have an AEM standalone now and sequential injection, but the LEX AFM and 550s are perfect for a CT26 setup (any trim). I currently have a NIB...
I vote black, but whatever you want. I can't see much of anything amidst all my turbo plumbing. A lighter color would make it easier to see any leaks, I suppose. Am I missing something with the green here? Am I to believe that everyone's doing it?
Yes you do. I just wanted to emphasize that this is easily overlooked, and Toyota's numbering is not what I consider to be the logical order.

On a related note, did anyone experience a higher idle rpm after...
Wiring issues FTW. I bet I rewired my igniter six different ways before I realized that the coils were numbered 1-3-2 and not 1-2-3. This confused the tuner as well, who then got me second guessing my original configuration (which turned out to be correct).
Not sure why I didn't find that thread first. What causes this (intake icing) to happen? IC charge temperatures? That can't be it, otherwise the lines wouldn't be necessary on the NA motors.
I am thinking of bypassing these connections. I live in Atlanta. Sometimes it gets frosty here...
Toyota never did a recall on the improper HG torque specs, so maybe you should blame them. I have heard that the OEM HG and (new) OEM bolts work fine for most engines, provided that the bolts are torqued (and re-torqued) to the correct spec of 74-80 ft/lbs. Even the motors with improperly...
