Should I be able to pull 10 lbs in first gear? Does boost carry over with each gear or does it release? Sorry for the noob like questions. Say I'm pulling 5 in first would I hit ten in second gear?

Hey guys I'm not sure if my gauge is reading wrong or what is going on. At idle I sit at about -20 in vacuum, it normally used to sit at about -10 but when I took it out it behaved normally, my gauge only ever hit 5 but the rear end went sideways like it was at about 10. I have a ct26 in 57 trim...
