I'm pretty sure I'm hearing the brake pad warning clip touching the rotor sometimes, so i'm starting to look into brake pads. What are some ofthegood brands out there? What kind would be best for street/highway driving? I won't be doing any autox or anything, so just basic pads...

idk about jiffy lube, but at my work, we order oil from parts, with a phone. then we have a gun that you pump the oil into the engine with, it stops by itself. it's possible that the guy could've misunderstood the mechanic and put it 15, when he wanted 5... the parts guy might've thought he...
I made mine for $9... and i have half the parts left over for another one. very simple to make. you'll need a tap, hack saw, teflon tape, vacuum line, and a bunch of other stuff. i can't remember exactly. The ball and spring will be the hardest to find.

The clicking means there isn't enough voltage to turn the starter. Check your connections. A cable could've shorted out, that's why the other battery died, and why the new one won't push enough into the starter.
