the engine ecu and wiring harness all came out of the same car at the same time so i know they are right.
yes this engine came with traction control and has the extra tps (does it need to be connected for the engine to run properly?)
do you or anyone you know have a vac diagram for this motor...
ok so i replaced the maf and still no luck
removed the safc2 still no luck
its like the ecu is ignoring the maf, im at my witts end trying to figure this out

yea i think so
the only reason for the safc2 is for its monitoring features cause it will give me much more acurate readings than anything else at my disposal at the moment
ok so i wired up the safc2 and im getting some weird readings
it seems that the throttle reads at 100% all the time and the maf looks like its getting signal and reading 85% witch is super weird and i cant really explain it
the turbos are on the menu for next summer lol
the codes i pulled sugested the maf not the o2 ssensors.
im thinking you both may be right tho cause icant see anything else that would cause such a rich condition.
im wiring up my safc2 today so ill be able to trim some of this fuel out lol

the problem is that the motor is runing very rich and im trying to figure out why or just find a solution to it .
first a little background, the car is an 87 that had a 7mge in it . i swaped...

im having a pretty frustrating issue.
i got a used rack from another member on here and im installing it.
both units are non pps.
the issue im having is the steering gear does not fit all the way down into the rack .
the old one looked like the bearing cap had been removed...
well because this car is my daily and i was collecting parts for an NA-T conversion im gonna try and find a gte long block and swap the head over
ill wait till next summer to do the v8 swap
that being said anyone know where i can get a gte Longblock or entire engine ????
im pretty sure it would cost me more to fix it unless some one wants to donate a gte longblock lol
