its NOT A PITA it took literally like less than 30 mins including flushing and refillin fluids. the hardest part is taking off the high pressure hose because its tighetened with a banjobolt if i remember.
just drain the reservoir
take off serpentine belt
unbolt fluid lines
unbolt old ps pump...

^ not all of us have a tig/mig welder on hand though and arc welding sucks for everything
and yes, that adapter is what you need to make it fit. i would make sure you have enough under hood space to make the turbo fit first though because it looks like the adapter raises the turbo about an inch
you have a t3 turbo undivided. that manifold is t4 divided. its just a matter of gettin a t3 to t4 adapter on ebay

7m, 1jz, 2jz engines all use the same oil filter, i suggest gettin a wix filter as its one of the best you can find. (NAPA filters are good also they are made from the same company)

idle speed control valve. they get stuck closed sometimes and not let enough air in the engine to bring the idle up, so youre running rich at idle. best thing you can do is turn the idle screw on the throttle body to compensate. or you can buy a new 300 dollar iscv..
