If the 5 spokes are the same offset as sawblades, I'd go with the 5/8". 1" might kick the wheel out too far past the fenderwell. Did you get the pic I sent in the PM?

I'm running a 5/8" spacer on the back of my 87 with stock sawblades. That worked out really well. The spacers I picked up and the kind with the wheel studs in an aluminium spacer. They aren't hub centric, but so far, no ill effects from it. I'll see if I can find the link to where I got them...

Exactly right, sequential trans. Very expensive.....compared to what an R154 or W58 cost.

Rod Millen is also using this stuff for suspension systems.

Did you check for corrosion on the battery terminals? Sounds like it might be a bad connection.
