I´ve heard my targa creak a couple of times and afaik not only targas, but also convertibles have a lot of more material but still lack the issue of torsional stiffness - there is no such car --> (targa, convertible) which can be as stiff as a hardtop. I´m sure I´m gonna get the white...

Well, I´m gotta get one for me. I already got a targa but I was always thinking about getting a hardtop. The one I am looking at is an original white edition one which has a bhg. It´s gonna be a great project.

I did some research in the meantime, too. My local Toyo-dealer did a direct inquiry in Japan. The weight difference is 200lbs!!! And that´s ALOT!

Well, isn´t there any official data provided by Toyota concerning the weight of the hardtop?

As far as the engine is concerned I know that there are no differences BUT only 100 pounds less? I thought it would be more than that?! :icon_surp
