Finally got some tires for the wheels I got a little while ago. I think it turned out really nice. The rims are RAYS (model is unknown) but the sizes are:
F: 17x8 225/45/17
R: 17x9 255/40/17
Here are some quick pics my bro snapped for me at the local airport.
Thanks for the good info. I will for sure try that with the slave. The release bearing is the one thats on the clutch fork correct? Anything else i should replace once the tranny is out, i replaced the clutch and bearing inside the crank, so is there anything else?
I think I'm confused about the names of the bearings sorry. The smaller bearing that goes into the crankshaft was replaced with a new one. However the bigger one on the clutch fork wasn't..
I don't understand though... when the clutch pedal is released and car is sitting at idle, the bearing on...
I posted this a while ago on supra forums but I got basically zero ideas about what this could be. Anyways, I did an auto to 5spd swap (W58)... Spec stage 3+ clutch and replaced everything. The only part I did not replace was the release bearing.. I also replaced the clutch master cylinder...

Actually RSR GT2 is perfect for super low cars like mine and yours because of the upward side tilt of the muffler, clears driveway slants perfect.
Pics to get...
I was looking through this thread, and i noticed a lot of 17" wheel guys are running side wall of 45 in the front, and 40 in the back. What does this achieve, does it get you some stretch or?
Imo, i'm just not feeling the whole side exhaust thing. Gotta love just normal exhaust that supra has on the left side. It's kind of part of the supra's character...having single huge exhuast thas usually tilted up and off to the side in the rear.
Like starscream5000 said it's also called a silencer but honestly, I don't know why people say its a SUPER loud exhaust. In comparison to other ones out there it might be LOUDER, but it's not loud. I've had my RSR GT2 for about a season now, I'm 19 and I've had zero problems with cops. It's...
