It sounds to me like it isn't fully disenguaging. It worked fine before the install because the clutch/ pressure plate were worn, thus, the master cylinder and slave cylinder didn't have to work as hard to disenguage the clutch.
the thrush bearing is not your problem, since it will only fit one way if i recall correctly. I have had problems with the gears after clutch changes before though, and it always turned out to be hydraulics. Did you bleed your system well? If so, you might want to rebuild/ replace your slave...
some more information on the subs and amp would be nice. That amp does not sound that powerful at all, though it might pack enough punch depending on the woofers. What is the rms wattage on the subs? This might help you out on hooking it up as well...
Very nice. Not the biggest fan that style of tailights, but it looks like you did a very good job on them. Awesome job with the build...revives my dreams of an engine swap someday.
search is your friend...anyways, an 87-88 harness (and some early 89 harnesses) will not work with a post 89 car. Your best bet is to find a harness from 1989-1992 with grey conectors...it will save you a major hassle. oh, and I reccomend that you don't hard wire it.
sorry to bring this back up, but before i spend 600$ on a manual harness i need complete clarification :aigo:. Will there be anything i need to do to bypass the neutral start switch since i will still be using the auto ecu or will it be just plug and play?
