The guys at pontiac didn't get the hint after they totally destroyed the Monaro?
I mean, fake hood scoops and plastic honeycomb grills are the American dream.
you can safely do 350whp on stock fuel if it's doing what its supposed to do. You can get drop in 440cc injectors from an aristo that will do 400whp, which will also require you to run some kind of managment, safc2 is fine for that low hp.
It's always time to go single.
IDK where to put this, so..
I need the generic toyota supra/sc300 3" vband downpipe in stainless steel with the midpipe thats made in china. It has to have the factory 2 bolt O2 sensor flange on it. I can't seem to find it anymore on ebay, only 4" kits are available now.
I need this...
Please stop with the false information guys.
First off, you will not gain any HP with 440cc injectors over stock 370cc's on a stock twin, stock ECU car. It will run rich and decrease hp as the stock fuel system was designed for around 400 crank hp.
Why would you make such an assumption...
Yes, ALOT of differences. Just in the soarer alone that I know, and theres more:
There are 6 engine harnesses out
91-94 auto/manual
94-96 a/m
97-200 a/m
Then you also have Generation Differences in Soarers.
Gen 1 = 91
Gen 2 = 92-96
Gen 3 = 97-2000
Now, what about all the other...
So I've been gone for a few months, and people already forgot that you CAN run more then 18psi on stock twins? Jeez guys, come on. We put that old wives tale to bed 2 years ago.
We're talking about 1JZ's here. 2JZ VVTI is another story.
Show me a big single power VVTI 1JZGTE. You hear they are good motors, but then you say you've SEEN them make big power too. Which is it? You think the rod problem is GE only, but you can't back it up?
Hop on to soarercentral...
Whats with all this mis-information?
First off, you don't "tune" boost cut away with an SAFC. The SAFC fools the ECU thinking it's getting more air or less air, making the fuel injectors put out more fuel, or less fuel. When you install 550's on a stock 1jzgte ecu with SAFC, you tune out...
Whatever you do, just don't buy crap parts. Stick with name brands. Nothing says ghetto roller like those ebay/chinese front mounts you can spot from a mile away. A good pipe setup is 2.5 hot side, 3" cold. JDM 440's are more then enough for 400whp.
My question is, what turbo is it...
