Is the timing supposed to advance when increasing RPM with the TE1 and E1 pins jumped? Also when checking timing with a light, how steady is the mark supposed to be with a good working ignition system? Mine tends to be "vibrating" about with about 1/4" travel.

Just going to echo my mechanic here, once it comes to plugs and wires he will always try to push for OEM. champion toyota has them at very reasonable price, online. Thats where I got mine.

Oil line from block to turbo is clear. Possible that something is blocking oil flow inside the block? gasket by the flange on the turbo was brittle and the nuts weren't very tight, I think oil was leaking there, but that would not cause failure.
