IMO turning your head away from the street may cause a nice crash :) Like Poodles said and absolutelly no blind spots. I never have to turn my head. (I lean it sometimes to make sure when changing lanes to the left though, but actually it was never needed, the middle rear view mirror does it...

Thing in the second picture is a vacuum switch or something, sends the signal to those two little leds on your tachometer (Eco or not so much :D - or you can see when there's a vacuum leak). I at least think it is. Is located on the drivers side firewall. I'd install it, or else, without other...
