Make sure you are running the latest firmware and are using 1.19 of the AEM Pro software. Also first gen AEM EMS is picky with USB to serial adapters. If possible use a laptop with a serial port on it. If the laptop has a PCMCIA port buy a card with a serial port on it.
Just noticed a burgandy 90++ turbo auto at medical center. Anyone on this forum? I'm here because my brother's wife just gave birth to a baby girl, so I'm an uncle now.
Anyways, clean car, i took a pic but dont want to post it with out you knowing.
Just a bit of my .02 cents
We have a dual Bosch setup in a 3.4 stroker that we built. Denso in the tank feeding a surge tank. We run ID 2200 cc injectors on a V1 AEM. The injectors are high imp. our logs show that we are running the injectors at 30% duty cycle and the car makes 815 WHP and...
First, the SAFC will not work well with the ECU. After the ECU is reset, the stock IS300 ecu will eventually relearn and give you the CEL again. Your best bet is to run an AEM EMS for the IS300. That will allow to use the 5 Speed auto along with the VVTi 2jzgte. The Factory ECU for the IS300 is...
Reload the start-up calibration. Do not adjust the timing. The timing is set dead on from AEM. If you need to adjust it,(don't need to adjust) you need to run a plug wire from the coil to the plug. You also need to use the most basic timing light you can find. The pick-up for the timing light...
2jzge water temp sensors work just fine with the 7M harness and ecu. Water temp sensor for the gauge works just like the 7M do. There is no need to swap them. I've done so many of these that I lost count.

Dont need to talk to titan as im sure they buy from them. Good luck.
Based on looks, camber is needed to fit crazy offset wheels; If you want to wear out tires, and you are ok with that oh well. It's your money and your car. From a handling perspective camber helps to keep tire contact patch during cornering. look at pic below. How do you think that Supra would...
The Honda ECU is cake to wire up. Ive been using them for a long time now. Check out my vendor section. I was using them on IS300's over three years ago.

I assume you want to use it on a 7M right? If you...
What engine is this AEM running? if it's coil on plug you must use a plug wire to No. 1 coil and use an inductive timing light with out that dial for advance. So the more simple the light is the better. What harmonic damper are you using?
Let me see pics of the house to see if I like it first, as I have been at 500 RWHP on a stock internals 1jz and did it for a long time too. Lets say about 100,000 miles to be exact.
: )
Ninja Edit:
I have plenty of single turbo MK4 friends that see my tailights with my little 1jz so...
Just to add a few of my thoughts.
Ive never lost an engine to an AEM. It's all I use. I've use the Haltech and its picky and buggy. Vipec never used it. ECU's don't blow engines, tuners do. If a Tuner tell the ECU to blow it up, the ECU will do it gladly. There are some well known tuners out...
Be different and do it. Most will say why, I say why not. I like VVTi, others thought it was stupid. Now I have 450 rwhp stock VVTi 2jz's schooling 600 whp Kenny bell Cobras. my next project will be a 3.4 stroker VVTi.
