Like Backlash said, proper grease and you won't have a problem and do NOT get the red bushing! Energy Suspension makes a black ployurethane bushing that are impregnated with graphite. The graphite acts like a lube to help prevent squeaks.

Sounds like a parts car, nothing more. Find a nice clean mostly original car to start with. Keep up with the regular maintence and modify it when you can. Because no matter how much work you do to this one, it will still have a salvage title.
