Small update time. I have been taking the supra apart slowly, and the engine is back from the machine shop. Got distracted a bit because my other car's engine let go, but we'll get there. First I want to get the car completely taken apart, and fix the rust.

I'm on a mission to rebuilt my supra, and the next step is suspension. The rubber insulators that sit between the springs and the top hats are rough, so I decided to replace them. it's been a giant pain just to get the fronts. I was able to find an old thread on this forum that talks about...

The engine is officially out of the car and dropped off with the builder! This is by far the biggest step in the project I've taken since buying the car 6 years ago. And it's the first time I've completely pulled an engine out of a car, so lots of new experiences. The clutch is not in the best...

Big update time! Last time I drove the supra after all the suspension changes I was excited to enjoy the car for a while and not mess with it. And of course it was at that exact time that the clutch let go. Anything over half throttle in any gear and it would spin. Absolutely not driveable...

Time for a big update! A lot of things happened since I last posted so I will try to go in order. I had to focus on my daily driver project car for a while. Had to get new tires and some other small things, and came to a decision that it's time for a new daily. I've owned it for 17 years now so...

Spent some time last weekend on the valve covers. I took them off, cleaned the area, found a random bolt sitting next to one of the cams (no idea how it didn't hit the cam during driving and damage things). Got new gaskets and did a lot of degreasing. There's a metal piece between the two valve...
