Any one got an idea???? I still can't figure this one out. I need to understand how the ECU sends the 'flashes' to the CEL, so I can try and trace why it wont do it anymore....... I'm guessing it grounds the 12v coming through the light on/off to display the flashes, but does it ground through...

Nope, it's off with the key off/out... Comes on just like normal when the key is turned through 'ON'.... Then stays on when the car is started.

Car runs good now, had to do the 12v fuel pump mod to get it going... Here's a few pics of it completed. Still looking for new wheels, threw the TT rims on for now. Suspension is next to get rid of the 4x4 look.

Got everything hooked up today, car fired right up first crank, then quit..... it runs for 5 seconds then shuts off :dunno: Not sure why yet as I gave up for the day. I will look into it tomorrow. Here's a pic of the 1J in the silver car.

Pulled the 1J out of the black car and cleaned it up a bit. I fixed some of the wiring and dropped it in the silver car. Just got it sitting in there then finished for the day. I will hook everything up tomorrow and start it... USDM 2JZ cams

It will stay wingless, I like the look. I have a KevinM sunshade though which looks great IMO. Coilovers are currently being shopped for, and wheels are coming too. Locally for sale there are some work VS-KF's and some SSR D5R's that I will look at this week. Hopefully I will be able to test...

I used simple green and a pressure washer to clean the bay. Plus a little elbow grease to get in the corners etc...

Here's a few more pics. Pulled the 7M from the silver car today and cleaned the bay. I plan on pulling the 1JZ from the black car tomorrow, then spend a day or so cleaning it up before dropping it in the silver car.

Yep, the black car came from Alex. It is a bit of a mess, but I like projects, and the drivetrain seems to be in good shape, which is the main thing I wanted from the car.
