I was wondering what the highest hp 1jz you guys have heard of on pump gas <94 octane. A true 1jz, no 1.5jz or anything. Please provide details and a link if possible. Thanks in advance guys

My understanding is that the sc diffs can be used in an mk4 but will not fit mk3s

I think so too, I figured I could turn the same if not more rpms than the 2j since it has a shorter stroke=stronger bottom end :)

Gonna run on pump gas for a while then I will be converting to E85

Also picked up a parts car, switched entire front clip and cleaned up the engine bay a little. My car was gutted when I got it so I also switched the entire interior, even the factory cargo cover :)

The new Carrillo Pistons :) These should make it about 9.3:1

Come to find out, wiseco as well as myself missed a small detail, they sold me 2j pistons. they will work just fine as pictured, I bored my block out, however since the 1j has a shorter stroke than the 2j it will make my motor lower compression. 7.5:1 is what i figured with all the measurments...
