would i be safe to use .5 MM oversized valves with out port and polishing the head? im not trying to do any thing hard core im leave it pstock im also put the comp cam springs in.would that be worth doing with out the P&P?

the heads all ready off. i pulled cuz i thought i had a blown head gasket.that with me handing head off car,lower intake manifold an cam gears still on,everything else off.

I called a performance shop and they quoted me 800 $ for port and polish the compresion chamber and a 5 way valve job.does that sound about right price wise?Thats with them removing and reinstaling the cams .Thanks for any input.

Any one know a good mecanic in the inland empire area? I need so get my valve seals replased. Id like a shop that knows what there doing,most shops wont mess with it because its turbo chaged?(7mgte).Any sudjestions? Thank you

well i tryed the oil trick i didnt losse any oil so ima reinstall the head.ima take the turbo to the place that rebuilt it down the road.(performance techniques) and have them look at the turbo.thanx for the input adam. PS...if the turbo is bad i wana upgrade it.that trim should i get?i dont...

i thought i had bad valve seals but now im not sure if its the turbo or seals,is there a way to check valve seals with head removed but with out taking it a part?

i was looking at dylans head removal,dissasimble,and reasembling pic how toos,is there a head installing pic how to?i didnt see one and those helped me a lot.better when i see things than hear them.sorry for the dumb question.

Is the a place that sells new complete wiring harness? I called my local toyota dealer and he said the no longer can get it. its a 87 7mgte with aut transmisson+TEMS.Any ideas?

thats what my car does,it smokes at exhaust manifold a little after driving kinda hard but smoke goes away rather quickly,i droped the head off at the shop today and ima have a turbo shop check out my turbo,can the turbo seals go bad with out geting shaft play?tubo was rebuilt 50 miles b4...

so with the valve seals being redone u think that will solve problem?there is even oil all inside the exhaust ports of the head,im sure the oil would burn off there with the car hot?if the valve seals leak would it put off a lot or a little white/blue smoke? thank you

so while the heads geting rebuilt i should replace the EGR?or just check to see how oily it is?i check all my pvc hoses and there wet with oil also?how would i go about fixing that?

if i were to put 1mm oversized valves would i need to run a piggy back or anything to fix air fuel ratio?
