well we found a loose ground and fixed it and now the tailights are fine...now we just have to figure out why the headlights and also the foglights dont work. We will look for some more grounds or just add some.
yeah but it is very hard to pin point with all the other noise....3" turbo back exhaust, dual FAL fans, etc. But it only has a tick at idle and when you apply the gas pedal it turns into an awful sounding chattering sound.
are there more headlight relays then the one under the hood in the fuse box? Is there one underneath the dash that i missed? I just swapped from a 7m to a 7mgte and didnt change the underdash harness or anything...just the motor harness and ECU. Could that affect the headlights?
i dont know. I am trying to find out where i should look at for the problem. I would suspect the shims are good. It ran fine and then it all of a sudden, after my friend goosed it, started chattering. He did a 1st gear burnout with no tachometer and i think it may be a valvespring retainer
The motor has developed a hestitation upon applying the throttle. Then it makes a gasping sound from the intake. We adjusted the TPS and it seemed to help a little.
A seperate issue is that it has developed a chattering noise from the head and we cant seem to pinpoint where its coming from...
All lights come one except headlights. They pop up they go down...but now lights. Like i said everyother light comes on...the brakes lights are very dim though. Tested the power at the headlight plugs and there is none. Tested power at the fuse box and there is power coming in and not going out...
Ok so I had hooked our boost gauge up to a vaccum hook up on the intake mani and all read fine. Then someone told me it needed to be hooked up between the turbo and wastegate, and we did that and got nothing. then someone else told me to hook it up to the FPR. I just decided to hook it back up...
