Driveability is fine:ides smooth at 800rpm, revs very responisively to 6800rpm limit, starts easily every time and cruises at 15:1 AFR (user adjustable). I have not been to the dyno yet though. I will probably have time later this month.

Yes, Megasquirt is a cheap standalone... but it works. The Version I processor and Version 2.2 board requires some slight modifications to control timing and the ' Extra' firmware. This is what I am running. The Version II processor controls timing without any modifications to the Version...

I don't know in terms of power because I won't have time to take it to the dyno until maybe mid-January, however it drives like normal, revs responsive and starts every time. I think the best advice I can give to novices like myself that are planning on using megasquirt is to install Ford...

thanks, I used the edis plug wires that came with the coil. They work just fine. i will post some more pics later.
