hey, are you running a wideband O2 sensor?? whats it saying? what is your fuel pressure doing? Can you run it at 5500 Rpm (not climbing) and it run smooth?

anyone know of a machine shop in houston that can handle this? The one i callled wanted close to 500 dollars to turn and balance and bearing it. If most are going to want that much money i may have to wait. :(

yes but ive never had good results with plastigauge, and i have a hook up on Mics, and this isnt the only engine i plan on building... So far, ive scrubed the block good ole soapy water, and rubbed the machined surfaces down with Marvel Mystery oil, im waiting on the mics, so i can check out...

Hey .....real easy...Clean the engine compartment...pull the head.....take it to a machine shop, have them check it for flatness...if it comes back good, bolt it back in, if not, ask them if they can "deck it..of if you need a new one. Should take you a few hours, and a craftsman 200 piece...
