good all around tire would be the nitto nt01's... 100 treadwear but it isnt speciffically for drag so the sidewalls are still firm. but on the other hand its still amazing for the corners aswell...
i was one of those 99 people who failed at it.... about two years ago i was bored and broke and wanted to lower the celicasupra a bit.. i only cut off a few inches from the bottom coil and that sucker was SLAMMED... needless to say i sold the car to a guy for 500 bucks that he was going to race...
well i thought about doing this fix because mine had the same problems even tho i replaced my starter. but then i thought why jerry rig the car... id rather just solve the problem for good... so i just hooked up the starter on a push button. problems solved...
