I wouldn't go with aluminized... I work for a company that manufactures exhaust systems for new ford/mazda and GM vehicles... We have a couple lines that use aluminized steel and that material is a bitch... Using Fabcor 409 weld wire (what we use on most of our stainless applications) comes out...
From what I have seen and heard, you hook up the 't' at the back of your intake manifold, there is a vaccum line going into there.. Just cut the line and add the t. There is a vaccum system sticker on the underside of the hood that should give you a reference as to where to look for it.

I have a buddy that went to that Richard Petty experience and they took them through a drift track in a new V6 Mustang. The instructors showed them how they drift and what not. They use the smaller powered cars to control them better. The more power, the harder they are to control apparently.
According to Wikipedia.com, they run a max stock boost of 14psi. That number sounds about right for how much hp it has. All they really did was take a dohc 2.4 and slapped a mitsu 16g turbo and a front mount intercooler system to it.
