Yeah it's the idle air control. It's stuck open. bypassed it, gotta feather the throttle when cold now, but purrs like a kitten when at operating temp.
I think I'm just gonna sell the car...My heart Belongs to the RX-7 and it's killing me to keep spending money on the supra when I don't...
Well so far today. Been driving it around for 2 hours, just runnin errands close to home. She wouldn't act up once for me to start pulling codes. I honestly don't think it fixed itself, But when the issue comes up again. I'll check for codes.
hopfully I can get this resolved quickly. kinda...
It has recently been rebuilt. The Wiring harness is alittle hacked (was like that when I bought the car) so that is a very possible issue. I'll prolly need to check everything with a meter. I will end up replacing the entire harness soon. Even if it isn't my problem now, I know it will be up the...
No Mods. No Check Engline Light.
I've gone over all the vacuum lines many times.

it actually makes alot of sense, With the knock sensors disconnected, it was throwing the ECU in safe-mode, when that safe-mode switch takes place is when it got the momentary inturruption in power supply.
No we didn't touch the ground behind the intake mani.
haha I don't think so! But This is the problem I've been having since I bought the car. The previous owner was having the same problem. it just took me buying the car and getting fed up to finally figure it out :P
Hey guys, I think I figured out why my car is boggin out and throwing a code 11. On a hunch I went to check on the Knock Sensor, and there is no wire attached to the Plug :nono: . Does anyone know what color wire is suppose to be connected into the plug? I do have a Brownish Sheilded wire that I...
Alright you've all heard my issue....I've replaced the fuel pump and I'm still having the same problem.
I can ease into the throttle, once it hits around 2500-3000RPMS I get a Code 11. I have checked EVERYTHING, grounds, power etc. Everything is operating properly.
Now as SOON as I hear...
Yeah I know, I was thinking the same thing when I pulled that fuel pump out. It would've been the 2nd supra I watch burn to the ground, if I was lucky enough to not have been inside of it when it happend.
Wether or not this IS the cause, it was definatly a problem that needed to be repaired...
In this case it does, the fuel pump was drawing too much power, The pump filter was non exsistant, so that pump was sucking up all that rust and dirt. The pump was drawing so much power that the wires were actually burning. I'm lucky I havn't filled the tank up all the way or else there could...
Well, I dropped the fuel tank today. The pump filter was non-existant. and the tank was full of crap. The fuel pump was rusted all to hell and the wires almost look burnt. I've been doin alot of research on my code 11 and I came accross a few people with bad fuel pumps that caused it. So it...
