First off I would not waste my money on a GE motor for the very reasons I stated. And my info comes for know MKIIII owners that have 1000+ hp cars that would never touch a GE motor.
A good friend of mine named Ryan woon is laughing his off right now at what you guys are saying. Have ever looked at the differences in the GE and GTE blocks because they are not the same. And the rotating assy. in the GTE is forged for the last time.
ok if the engines are the same then why is it that the GE engine is cheaper than the GTE. Also, why is the resale value of the TT MKIIII higher then the NA MKIIII if the engines are the same. And why is it that the highest stock bottom end GE motors only being built to 400 hp.
ok the internals in the 2jzge are not the same as the internals in the 2jzgte. The internals in the GTE are forged which is why than can be ran to 900+ hp to the wheels. That is the reason that you can not put more than 400 hp through the GE without building it.
Just use the stock seat belts with the racing seats it will be fine. Harness should only be used in racing applications not on the street. If they where good for the street than they would be put in from the factory.
I have that same spyder web crack on the front of my car and my painter told me the only way tro get that out is to strip the part and repaint. Otherwise you will have a funny locking stripes on the front if you use the touch up paint.

Yea the rough idle was caused by the leak but the glowing turbo was from him racing the car and when a vechile goes rich it will make the exhaust colder do to the extra unburnt fuel in the exhaust
Yea um a glowing red turbo is from driving for long periods of time. Such as doing a mountian or twist road run. the only thing that you need to do is let it idle for like 5 mins after you are done so that the turbines have time to slow down with oil still being pumped in.
It will the first thing I going to work on is hard pipes for my car. I want to design a targa brace and other supports but my car is a hard top so I guess that I am going to have to buy another supra :-)
