I'm running that aeromotive pump myself. It just looks and feels very well built, it's a heavy little sucker. Never had any fuel psi or flow problems from it yet and had it for about 7 months now.

Yup, just takes a min or two to start. If I rev it a few times it's seemed to clear up some then it starts back. I ordered some new .020 pistons so I've taken everything back apart and gonna bore and hone it. Hopefully fix's the problem.

I have repaired alot of heads, if done right with the right grade alum filler you should be fine. Just weigh your options first of repair cost vs a good used head.

In the last week or so been trucking along as work permits. The fuel tank is cleaned out and epoxied along with sending unit and gas neck. I can say other than the amount of time invested in getting the tank clean enough it went good but it can be messy for sure. I took some pics of the tank...

Clevite 77 bearing guard is the best I have ever used. Not sure where you could get it cept maybe a machine shop supplier.

Got some more go fast goodies today. I decided to go with aeromotive and not take the chance on some no name brand. I believe that should take care of my fuel demands for almost anything I will do in the future.

That's the bottom of the hole, I ran a thread cleaner all the way down to make sure. My guess is they have extra threads because the same stud size is used in a different application that happens to work on 7m's also.
