    FIL's JZA70 Upgrades

    As I mentioned above, I've already tightened it up, and the pulley runs true now, but the noise is still there... I reckon I've done some damage to the pump... but haven't had any spare time since Saturday arvo to look at it... If I get home early enough from work tonight, I'll pop the belt off...

    Stinger thread....

    Pins 6 and 7 on the T connector are connected to AC components.. 6 to the AC clutch and 7 to the AC Amplifier (blower fan resistor?) What I don't know, is what the ECU does to the signal and where it gets an input telling it that I want to turn the AC on.... I was hoping someone may have had...

    Stinger thread....

    sorry, should have clarified, car is a JZA70 (as is Zerocool's Turbo-R), only reason I'm asking is because the A/C hasn't worked since I put the Stinger in... It doesn't even switch on the compressor, so I figured there must be some input from the ECU in the operation, besides bumping the idle...

    Quick question.... Is anyone here running a standalone stinger with A/C hooked up? How did you do it? The A/C is normally controlled via the stock ECU, can you just run 12v from the A/C switch to the AC Amp and AC clutch?

    All 3 of those were shot with a Canon 1D Mk III with a 24-105 f/4.0L... the last shot had a bit of help from a 580EX II as well so that I could balance the light on the bike with that in the sky...
