Wiring is similar as the MAFT Pro, though more like the original MAFT. The MAFT Gen II does not use an IAT since it cannot do the speed/density conversion.

The Bosch 710N (the valve you have...) is the same type as stock....and will function just as I outlined above.

Really. Your questions indicate you do not have a clear understanding of a mass-flow metered system vs. speed-density. Perhaps more learning is in order....that said, out comes the spoon: Yes. If you have a strong spring or pull-type BOV, yes. No. @ idle the stock valve is open...
