I don't recall for sure if it was here, but I think I have seen someone mention waterjackets not being made correctly in the block causing to much heat. Though I could have just been dreaming this all up too.
Cool thanks and with any luck I will not need to do it. Going in today and hitting the head bolts again been around 500 miles maybe since I did that and redoing the valve covers again hoping they didn't seal correctly.
Would it be possible to just drop the tranny and change this seal out or do you have to pull the whole engine to do it? Any help or tips on this would be great.

It is decent its still not timed right but its much better then it was. My problem was I thought the crank had to be at 0 instead of the 12 it should be at.
Thanks I figured it out just a few hours ago and just got back from my test drive. It wasn't a problem with the cams it was a problem with the crank postion. It still isn't perfect but its alot better then what it was. Its still alittle ruff but hardly or even no backfiring at all now. Will take...
