No, I think he means the electrodes on the plugs... My 02 4runner (5vze) also has the warning sticker from the factory... specifies twin tip only. I've also wondered why Toyota calls for this, as I thought multiple plug tips were just a gimmick.

Sometimes the crank pulley/dampner spins and the tdc mark on it may not be tdc. Pull #1 plug and insert chopstick or whatever, as you turn the engine, you'll see (as the stick rises/stops) where tdc really is. good luck.

Anyone tried these low profile clutch fans from Flex-a-lite? http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/html/low-profile-belt.html Looks a little wimpy, but the ad in Summit says they move more air than stock. Don't know what their comparing this to, of course...
