I just converted this VHS tape and uploaded it. I have never seen this video on the internet before. Its for the 2nd gen Toyota Soarer, which is a cousin of the Mk3 Toyota Supra.
For added longevity I added a few layers of thin rubber sheet above the spring before it meets the rear upper mount. I added a few more layers on the drivers side to balance out the drivers weight which will caue the car to lean more on that side.
The site went down somewhere in 2021 or 2022. Then it was back up by the efforts of Jeff Lange many months later. Not all of the posts were able to be restored. I know one of my threads was gone and I cant find them anymore.
I bought the links with the part number you gave and I was able to find them locally. Of course they were listed for the toyota Wish in my country, which far outnumber the MA70 supra. They work great.
I am not too sure what exaclty is the problem, but i recommend bolting the rear section after installing this bearing. With only the front end of DS slot the bearing in from behind the center mounting on the chassis, not from underneath. The carrier bearing is designed to be slotted from behind...
