As per my title. I noticed the mk3 uses a tripod inner, but the Mk4, IS300 and SC300 which are newer comes with a 6 ball plunging joint on the inner side. Is this actually an improvement ?

I just converted this VHS tape and uploaded it. I have never seen this video on the internet before. Its for the 2nd gen Toyota Soarer, which is a cousin of the Mk3 Toyota Supra.
For added longevity I added a few layers of thin rubber sheet above the spring before it meets the rear upper mount. I added a few more layers on the drivers side to balance out the drivers weight which will caue the car to lean more on that side.
