    As per my title. I noticed the mk3 uses a tripod inner, but the Mk4, IS300 and SC300 which are newer comes with a 6 ball plunging joint on the inner side. Is this actually an improvement ? I currently have a clunk and i strongly suspect its coming from the inner tripod, and as per recommendation...

    Like what Abe said, put back to old plugs and try. Also, stating the obvious, make sure the plug wire sequence are correct.

    Its RHD ? Anyway, if its an 89, then it is a facelift, probably some one swapped the front nose to prefacelift, for whatever reason.

    Looking for rear suspension rubber insulator

    For added longevity I added a few layers of thin rubber sheet above the spring before it meets the rear upper mount. I added a few more layers on the drivers side to balance out the drivers weight which will caue the car to lean more on that side.
