It didnt with the 7m, but the 1j does have a bit of drone to it. But its less drone than about every other modded car I have been in. Plus I dont have any insulation on the floors or anything in the hatch area to absorb the sound. Its real mellow when its not boosting, but when the WG's open...

For reference my Tanabe with the china Y pipe/DP and no cats has a similar tone to a G35/350z, but quite a bit louder. And I will say this, the 1j is no where close to sounding like the 7m did through the same exhaust. The 7m is nice and lumply with a hint of muscle car where the 1j sounds...
