Hey there collin been following your thread from supraforums. I like what youve done so far very nice... Ive got pics of my build if youd like to see and some wiring questions? thanks in advance Everett.
pics of an aristo engine
so found out recently that the engine i have is indeed an aristo model this is what she look like as of now.... tell me what you think i polished up the valve covers myself and have done all the work so far replaced all seals and belts.... t67 turbo .58 exhaust propeller. very pleased with how...
I dont know if its an aristo or what it was from all i know is that it had a rear sump i took it off and thats as far as ive gone due to no parts ....lol money fund is short but christmas time is gonna help hahaha
yea id bet it is... so you have the na 2jz did you put the oil squirters in for the pistons? i read on wikipedia that the only difference component wise between the engine were the oil squirters to cool off the top of the piston?
oh yea im sorry man im still a newb so im kinda just messin around tryin to chat about thing i dont know for fact and on the way learn for my swap... win win situation thanks for the info on the w58 tho hopefully i wont have a problem selling it...
wow id love to find all that for the price you got... but i still have to buy some things to get it on the road by summer time next year... 1jz bellhousing manual, throttle cable, flywheel, intercooler & piping, and i have to get tweaked. oh and also figure out the vaccum lines on the turbos...
ive read that my year the engine will drop in besides the beating of the firewall 1" to 1 1/2" or whatever the spec is? with my 7m brackets and my driftmotion.com engine mounts.
yea actually that site has inspired me to get into it even deeper...it dont seem to bad to me... i work on cars for a living... i love it... i havent done anything wild yet but thats what i have you guys for.... thanks
its not too hard to upgrade correct? diff injectors, cams, impedance on the injectors, and ceramic compressor wheels on the turbo. about a good $1000 in upgrade from jdm to us spec.
