O.k. i've been searching here, but i didn't find any conclusive answers. Maybe i searched in a wrong way, but nevermid. Just a quick question here. If stock mk3 wheels are R16 7j et37, what R16 sizes would also fit? I'm looking only at R16's. If anyone has experiance in fitting 8j or et20, or et28 and so on wheels, please give a feedback.

general question.... i've skimmed through most of the 188 pages but what i want to know is... how big of an offset can i throw on my ride before i have to start doing crazy camber adjustments or modifing fenders (not talking rolling fenders, simple to do).... i know it depends on wheel size, width and ride height...

so again generally speaking let's say:
18inx9in wide 1.5 drop or so....

I feel they look sort of out of place.. BUT, some have pulled it off looking pretty good. also, tires seem to shoot up in price rather fast when you go to a 19.

19"s look too big on a supra (my opinion), plus they offer no advantage in handling, if anything reducing performance and are more expensive. Most people buying mk3s are looking for performance so that's probably why you don't see any with 19"s.

I don't know how it's affected in regards to lowering the car, but you could fit a +50mm 9in wheel on the back, it would be tucked almost all the way in though. You'd probably want to be more in the 30-40mm range.

looking for the most tire i can fit under the rear. width wise

will 255/--/18 on a 9.5 work in the front (didnt do a tread height. unsure of what it would be.)
and how much can i fit in the rear? on a 18inx10.5? or is it possible to go wider?
for a high hp app (when cruising the streets ;) )

was looking at getting the rota grids. thanks

I'm running 275/40/17 on a 9.5" +50mm on mine, as long as your offset is proper up front, it shouldn't cause any problems. I believe the magic number you're looking for there is something like +35 or +37.

As for the rear, a whole lot. I plan on running a 315/35/17 on my Mk4 TT's with an ~8mm spacer to get clearances right. :)

What do you guys recon? Chrome or silver?

Both of them are..
18 x 8.5 +25
18 x 9.5 +35

You know, with my car, I'd probably go with the silver, as I prefer the subdued look, but something tells me the chrome might look really nice. Your car is rather clean from the looks of it... Mind my asking the price that you've found for those ADR's?

Yeah, can see pros and cons on both rims. The chrome might look too flashy, or it might look awesome. The silver rims are cool, but they might be a little to boring? Think I'll have to look around for same type of rims in silver and chrome and decide from that. The chrome rims are $659 and silver are $499.

A local is selling some Workmeister S1's that I'm interested in. I'm not quite sure on the fitment, so any help is appreciated.

Fronts are: 19x9 + 25 w/ 235/35ZR19
Rears are: 19x10 + 15 w/ 245/35ZR19

Only my front fenders have been rolled, the rears haven't been done yet. I'm dropped on H&R springs with Tokico blues. Will I be ok to run these?

Ruff Racing R930's in Hyperblack
18X8.5 front, +38
18x9.5 Rear +45
These tires came on the car, dont really like the stretch looked 235/35/18 front, 255/40/18 rear.

Was wondering what size tires would fit the car properly?

Quick question, I have 18x8 +18 at the front, what is the best tire size I need 225, 235 or 245 for stock suspension? If I have Tokico and Eibach, what is the best tire size also? Thank you!
