Luckily mine hasn't had any major wiring issues yet lol well the only major one I had recently was that my positive battery terminal would get corroded enough to break the circuit and my car would just shut off completely when I tried starting it. I cleaned the crap out of both cables and terminals and it would corrode just enough to do the same thing months later. I got new cables from the auto parts store; of course, the new cables are 1 positive and 1 negative and the stock cables has like 1 positive that splits off into 3 and the 1 negative splits into 2.

The issues mine has are minor. Turn signals work sometimes like the door speaker did but when the don't work I stick my foot up next to kick panel and tap the harnes and they start working.

Welp I spun the wheel, no sound, jacked up the suspension, no sound.... I'll just deal with it until I upgrade my suspension. Gave her a nice wash in preparation for the Houston Supra meet tonight. Pics will be coming later tonight.

On a bad note I think my head gasket may be slowing going because this week I've had to top off my coolant twice, not very much but still worrying me. If it is going then time to build my 2jzge-T VVTI.

Few pics from the meet tonight very fun time and cruise only 2 MK3s again including myself. Oh and I also took down my friend's TT MK4 SE on a highway run and I hung with another friend's TT Mk4. Pretty proud of my scruffy Mk3.

Went and bought a shitload of parts for it, including a new hood that doesn't have a vent bolted to it, and a steering column with everything still on it (say goodbye to electrical issues)

I've had to top off my coolant three times now in the past 3-4 days of some hard driving but mostly cruising. I fear my head gasket may be going again. Nothing under the oil cap, I don't have any coolant leaks that I can see, hopefully it's not that stupid 90 degree hose behind the T-stat housing again. I hope I am over thinking but if the gasket is going then time to build the 2jz. Any thoughts? Don't mind the rust that happened when I replaced my head gasket almost 3 years ago now and the engine was open for a couple of months.

Sometimes there is a light puff of blue smoke on start up after driving for awhile other than that it smokes from my oil leak lol.

Check your down pipe where it mates to the turbo for coolant residue. I had a turbo that was leaking coolant inside gave almost no warning whatsoever. Other option would be to find a dye that reacts with ultrviolet light and put it in then after a day or so go over the engine bay with a black light.

Welp I found the leak already lol but it's the most or one of the most annoying hoses to replace. It's in the back of the head and I think it's that 90 degree hose but I can't tell for sure. I do have to drain the coolant to replace it right?

I discovered my AC system is low.... again. I've refilled it twice now since my 134 retrofit. I thought my leaking valve was the culprit, but apparently there's another leak.

I passed emissions after getting a new cat installed. My metallic core was not working well enough to pass CO emissions. The new cat passed with extreme ease. $440 installed. Ouch. Pretty sure I got a little screwed on the parts cost, but oh well it passes now.

You dont need to drain all of it. My tip would be to drain about a quart or two from the rad, jack up the rear of the car to put most the coolant in the front of the car. That way you shouldn't have to drain too much. Then remove the lower elbow of the hose with a bucket underneath to catch whatever comes out.

I also washed her a couple weeks ago. She looks alright cleaned up.

That's what I usually do with most coolant hose replacements I drain most of it. Anyone know the part number for that hose I can't find it in the TSRM.

Looks like #16282-42010 for the 90° elbow.

Though from the coolant pattern shown I would look elsewhere.
Take a look above it at the heater core hoses.

I agree with pirate on checking the heater core hoses.

My next task is gonna be a pita. I'm replacing every rubber hose with silicone hoses.
